Hostess Coaching

Can you stand it!? You are on your way to new habits and developing consistency! I'm so very proud of YOU!! You've hung in for 9 days! You're almost over the hump!

Are you excited? Do you have those 10 classes booked yet? If not...KEEP ON GOING!! 10 is the number!!! You can do it!

Now that you have those classes on your books, lets make them the best one's ever! Just think. If you have 10 classes booked and you sell $300 at each, that would equal $3,000 in business over the next 2 weeks! Wow!

If you average 2 new skin care clients at each class, that's 20 new clients X $300 in re-orders this coming year, which equals $6,000 in additional sales.  Add that to your initial sales of $3,000, and you have $9,000 you can be earning based on your work in the next two  weeks! ARE YOU EXCITED YET? BOOK ~ BOOK ~ BOOK~ BOOK ~ BOOK ~ BOOK ~ BOOK ~ BOOK ~ BOOK ~ BOOK!!!!

Today's Assignments:

For each Hostess Packet you have prepared. You need one for every hostess you have booked. If you haven't given them a packet, mail or deliver one to them immediately. Call and tell them to expect your packet in their mailbox!

Various consultants have created hostess programs that work for them. I've shared three of them below. Using one of these may save you from having to reinvent the wheel.
My preferred hostess program is the awesome program developed by our own Linda Rocha. There are other great ones, too.
This one is a cute little brochure, which features "A Shot At $100." This one requires the hostess to do four tasks, and if she does, she gets $100 in free product. If she misses any of the four requirements, she then reverts to regular hostess credit, based on sales and bookings. Make sure that the hostess understands that she must achieve all four requirements to use any of this program. (For instance, she doesn't get $25 for holding on the original date, if she doesn't meet the other requirements.) It's like a basketball contest where a participant has one shot to make a basket from 1/2 court. He either makes it or he doesn't. If you use this brochure, then you could offer $75 for $25 or $99 for $33 if she misses her shot at $100.
Here's another one. This one uses the tried and true hostess credit that we have had since Mary Kay started the company--10%, 15%, and 20%.
A packet should include the Hostess Brochure of your choice (one of the programs above), 3-5 Look Books for outside orders, a couple of Outside Order sheets printed on both sides, possibly some samples, a piece of recruiting literature and your business card.
You can place your pieces of literature in a binder, a folder, or even a MK pink sack. Just have them made and ready and always take some with you to classes and facials.

Now make 10 more for your next 10 hostesses and be sure to take 4 or 5 to every class, so you can give her a packet as soon as she schedules.

Mary Kay taught us to always have a High Hostess Contest going every week or month. Read the information about the High Hostess Contest and then give yourself 50 points for deciding what your own contest will be.

Be sure to get on the phone to get those 10 booked! Now that you have your contest in place, make this your reason to call! Be sure to take your 500 BONUS points from Day 7 when you have booked a Perfect 10! When you have 10, go for 20 and earn an extra 1000 points when you get 20 booked.
