Lesson 6

Planning To Work

Today's Assignments:

50 pts
Use a T-Time Tracker and plan how many hours you want to work this week and how much you want to sell. Get in the habit of doing this every week. When you have completed the time, but not the money, then you are WORKING OVERTIME! When you have earned the money, but not put in the HOURS, then you still have money-making hours left...keep on going!
50 pts
Add 3 Power Hours to the Weekly Plan Sheet you filled out on Day 1. Continue to add power hours to future Weekly Plan Sheets. If you worked for someone else, they would tell you what days to show up for work. Plan to do the same for your business. Designate what days and times you will work.
50 pts
Plan your day/week by printing and using the Daily Organizational Worksheet to plan who you will call for appointments and what to do during your hours of work...your Consultant IPA's (Income Producing Activities) THIS IS CALLED YOUR JOB DESCRIPTION.

When you think of a JOB, what do you know for sure? You know what hours you need to show up to work (Weekly Plan Sheet). You know what to do when you get there (Daily Organizational Worksheet  - Job Description) AND you know what is expected to be the result of your work (A complete T-Time!).

TIME MANAGEMENT by Jim Rohn
Something will master and something will serve. Either you run the day or the day runs you; either you run the business or the business runs you.
Learn how to separate the majors and the minors. A lot of people don't do well simply because they major in minor things.
Don't mistake movement for achievement. It's easy to get faked out by being busy. The question is: Busy doing what?
Days are expensive. When you spend a day you have one less day to spend. So make sure you spend each one wisely.
Sometimes you need to stay in touch but be out of reach.
Time is our most valuable asset, yet we tend to waste it, kill it, and spend it rather than invest it.
We can no more afford to spend major time on minor things than we can to spend minor time on major things.
Time is more valuable than money. You can get more money, but you cannot get more time.
Never begin the day until it is finished on paper.
Learn how to say no. Don't let your mouth overload your back.
