ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING
Attitude is the way you think.  Your attitude is something other people can actually see.  They can hear it in your voice, see it in the way you move, and feel it when they are with you.  Your attitude expresses itself in everything you do, all the time, wherever you are.

Positive attitudes always invite positive results.  Negative attitudes always invite negative results.

Attitudes make a difference every hour, every day, in everything that you do for your entire life.  What you get out of each thing you do will equal the attitude you have when you do it.

Anything that you do with a positive attitude will work for you.  Anything that you do with a negative attitude will work against you.

If you have a positive attitude you are looking for ways to solve the problems that you can solve and you are letting go of things over which you have no control.

You can develop a positive attitude by emphasizing the good, by being tough-minded and by refusing defeat.

“BELIEVE YOU CAN succeed and you will.
Think big. Think victory.”   Mary Kay

WHAT DO YOUR ACTIONS SAY TO YOUR HUSBAND?

It happened again at the quarterly awards celebration.  Overheard a husband ask his consultant wife, “Why can't you be up there?”  The lady said she intended to meet her goals, but there was not enough time with Johnny's ball schedule and the flu.  This little encounter is repeated time after time needlessly because consultants avoid the real reason they are not “up there”.....inconsistency.

These consultants do everything right.  They set goals, plan, go to meetings, book, hold classes, sell and call on reorders......every now and then.  Finally, they conclude there is no money to be made in Mary Kay and of course they are right again.  Obviously, if you don't work, you don't get paid.  However, they still don't see the real problem.... inconsistency.  The irony is that many of these consultants then take up other part-time jobs that rarely pay much but they do pay because they require consistency.  The boss sets their schedule with little regard for Johnny's ball game or other important family matters.

Frankly, it's baffling as to why someone would work 15-20 hours on a boss' schedule when you could schedule your own hours consistently each week to meet your own needs  AND make more money.

With just a little consistency the scene changes and the husband is saying “That's my wife up there.  Isn't she great!”
