What's Been Happening: Well, I see by the clock on the wall that 40 years have passed since the class of 68 was causing havoc in the halls of OHS. It is unbelievable to me that the years have passed so quickly. I hope that all is well with you. As for us, Shirlee and I are enjoying our retirement together. With so many interesting places to explore in the Pacific Northwest, we are keeping quite busy.

Since our last visit to Osborne, we married in 2006 and recently celebrated our one year wedding anniversary last December. Sadly, my daughter passed away in December from toxic shock syndrome at the young age of 25. But life goes on. On a happier note, we have a new addition to the household. Attached is a picture of our new Boston Terrier, "GrrLee Girl." She is a big love and goes with us everywhere.
There are times that I miss the open spaces and small towns of kansas and wish to return. Washington is spectacular in its own right, but sometimes I feel constrained by all the trees. As much as we would like to attend this year's reunion, I think we will pass on the opportunity. With gas prices so high and the airlines in turmoil, we will be content to stay home this year. I have included a personal check to help cover costs of hotdogs, hamburgers, etc during the weekend activities. Use the funds as you see fit. Please pass on a big Hello to the class from us. We will be thinking of you all.
