Offer your established customers the opportunity to have a Shop 'n Sample Appointment! Schedule these appointments aournd your classes and facials to fill up your datebook.

Rather than just popping a reorder into the mail, or delivering to a customer's home when she is awat, offer to them a "Shop 'n Sample" delivery appointment.

Take the black Color Carrier--the zipped sample carry bag offered from MK Connections--and fill and update all the pages with ALL the samples in every category imaginable.

The reorder customer gets their delivery plus  20 minutes to "shop 'n sample" through the samples and take as many as she wants to try----lipsticks, glosses, eye shadows, blushes, lip/eye pencils, supplements, foundations, fragrances. Some customers may take as many as 10-12. They get 48 hours to try them and when they place an order of $40 or more from their samples they get $5 off the order.

Many of these customers may not be interested in a class or new facial, but with this concept, they are still able to try all the new colors and products at their convenience in their own bathroom.
Here are some of Bernice's results in just 6 weeks. "In one week 5 of my reorder customers agreed to the Shop 'n Sample delivery appointment with their reorder/delivery. One just reordered her moisturizer, another her mascara, and three had PCP orders of $40 or more at the time of their delivery. In 48 hours of seeing me and selecting their samples, four had reorders of over $120+ each and one with a $55 order.  The gal wanting only a mascara recruited after coming to me with another $115 in orders. Seven reorder customers last week, in addition to their orders from their samples, took "On the Go Bags" for one week to their jobs and will hand their orders in tomorrow."

Bernice also puts three coupons in every reorder sack.
"Present this coupon at your Mary Kay Complimentary Facial Appointment and get $10 off your order!"   The coupon also includes my name/phone/ e-mail---printed on pink cardstock I ask my customers to give them to three of their friends and they will get 10% off their next order for each friend who calls me with their coupon in hand.
The customer can receive up to 30% off when all three call in one month

Use this if you have "snow blindness" on your datebook. With reorders you can busy yourself and get "face to face" again with established customers!
